Power Only Freight
When your own trailer is loaded and ready to roll, we’ll find you power only capacity to haul it in our nationwide carrier network.
The Same Dependable Carrier Network, Minus the Trailer
A trailer full of freight without a driver means wasted time and money.
Power only trucking is a full truckload capacity solution that utilizes a carrier’s driver and a tractor (also known as a “power unit”) but not their trailer. Instead, the driver hooks up to and hauls a trailer that is either leased or owned by a third-party logistics provider (3PL) or shipper.
Power only is a great solution if you:
- Own or lease assets and have more trailers to move than drivers or tractors available.
- Store full or empty trailers at your facilities that need to be moved on demand.
- Need trailers repositioned before, during or after a seasonal volume surge.
By decoupling the power unit and the trailer, we can create extremely flexible solutions for your shipping challenges. Get in touch if you think you’d benefit from this option.
What Makes Us Different
Nationwide Carrier Network
Our network spans the U.S. coast to coast, and every carrier in our network is vetted for quality and reliability. Wherever and whenever you need a driver and tractor, we’ve got you covered.
Always Available in Peak Season
Power only demand is highest during peak season, so we source additional capacity during this time to make sure you’re covered. Have a different surge season? We’ll find you capacity then, too.
